An Unstable, Insufficient Data Layer Setup

Many websites face tracking failures due to incomplete or unstable data layers. Missing parameters, incorrect event triggers, SPA reload issues, and lost UTMs or click IDs all lead to a weak data foundation and unreliable conversion tracking.

Weak or Inconsistent Conversion Tracking

Meta needs clean signals to optimize. When tracking breaks events not firing, firing late or multiple times, wrong event priorities, or duplicate pixels Meta receives poor data. The system can’t learn, causing higher CPA and lower ROAS.

Without CAPI, browser data is blocked by iOS 14+, ad blockers strip pixels, cookie consent breaks tracking, and purchase values may not transmit and Attribution windows shrink underreported results. So Meta sees fewer conversions, under-optimises, and bids inefficiently.
